Located in the Southern Cape Fear River just minutes from Carolina Beach and it’s sandy bottom holds many sand dollars for you to collect for fun and projects. We carry items to help protect these fragile items til your return and then teach you how to prep and preserve these pieces for your collection! And you just never know what you will find while exploring “Sand Dollars Flat.” Keep your eyes open and see what you can find! You may get a little muddy or sandy but it is good “clean” family fun! We’ll wash you off back at the dock!

Yup, just a youngster but I remember!

Long one today! Had no trips! None! So Wife Betty and I went to the Aurora Fossil Museum in Aurora NC for the day! Beautiful weather, easy drive, and a great day learning, exploring, meeting new faces at the museum, and fun with lots of folks in the “Pits!”

If you have not ventured here you are missing a lot if you are a serious Shark buff! Really cool place!

Pics don’t lie and we had a ball! Home now and very tired, but I got trips to guess where this weekend? Yup,... 🦈 Shark’s Tooth 🦷 Island!
