Masonboro Island is a 6 mile long barrier island that the state of N C controls for future preservation, and Capt. Charlie can carry you there for some “get away” Adventures or just some simple solitude! Great for any family, there are miles of beach to explore, swim, surf, or just sit and watch Mother Nature unfold it’s beauty in front of you. Picnics on the beach are wonderful also and relaxing to boot! This is a “getaway special” site. If you are visiting Wilmington NC or Carolina Beach NC you may want to consider this adventure.
